RELATIONSHIP DETOX
Welcome to Week 3! How are you feeling? Have you noticed any changes in your body, your mental state, your sleep, your skin? Be sure to share with the community on Instagram (tag me @nourishedrootshealth) and share how you’re feeling at this stage of your Detox Program!
Week 3 is all about detoxing our relationships. Believe it or not, our personal bonds can make or break our relationship with food and with overall health.
waffle about the importance of relationships in supporting our healthy habits. Notice any correlation between reltaionships and eating habits? (When there are relationship problems you crave more sugar to replace the feelings of love and affection?)
Rate them on scale of 1-10.
if they were low, dive into the following questions:
are others offloading their problems onto you without your permission?
do others expect too much from you?
are your friends or coworkers gossiping and creating a negative environment?
are there ongoing problems, rifts, or arguments with loved ones or family members?
Exercise: List 5 people who truly support you. Write one reason you’re thankful for them next ot each person’s name. Identify how you can reach out to that person today, or how you can cultivate more of a relationship with them.
